BREEAM

Low Carbon - Banner

Morley Environmental offers BREEAM assessment services, applying our understanding of design optimisation and environmental performance throughout the project.

As both BREEAM assessors and architects, we provide practical and effective strategies for achieving environmental goals within the complex constraints of a project brief.

We integrate BREEAM with other project performance goals, working closely with our clients to achieve their desired BREEAM ratings in a streamlined and cost-effective manner, while securing environmental goals throughout the design process.

Passivhaus

Loughborough SportPark 073

Morley Environmental offers Passivhaus design services and implementation from early design stages through construction to building handover.

This involves design and technical expertise in the five core Passivhaus principles: super-insulation, airtight construction, thermal bridge-free design, high-performance windows/doors, and mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR).

Using Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP) software, this crucial design tool allows accurate energy modelling and demonstration of compliance with the rigorous energy-demand standards.

We provide detailed technical specification and on-site quality assurance throughout construction, collaborating closely with a Passivhaus Certifier to ensure the finished building achieves the predicted performance and can be officially certified.
