We are happy to announce that Author King’s Cross has been shortlisted for the New London Awards in the Housing category.

Related Argent’s first Build-to-Rent scheme, the project combines 218 apartments with commercial units, leisure, and amenity spaces, arranged around a new London Square. The design team helped the client to create a sense of place to draw visitors to the northernmost plot of the King’s Cross Masterplan.

Each of the development’s three buildings – designed by David Morley Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Haptic Architects – has its own identity, expressed through material, human scale details and its interaction with the street and the garden, yet together they present a unified development. The landscaping, designed by fabrik, enhances the local network of green spaces.

The New London Awards 2024 shortlist is a showcase of projects that contribute to and enhance NLA’s vision for a New London: a city that is sustainable, civilised and egalitarian, that seeks to improve the quality and standards of new design.

Thank you to the commitment and effort of all involved to make Author King’s Cross possible. We look forward to the winners being announced at the NLA Awards ceremony this November.
