Ten years ago the London 2012 Olympic Games had just begun, and the Water Polo Arena was thriving with activity! At the gateway to the Olympic Park, our temporary venue generated a distinctive form that complimented the curvilinear lines of the Aquatics Centre, and unfolded to reveal a vista of the Main Stadium.

We want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of the design team who collaborated on this incredible project for the Olympic Delivery Authority.

With sporting achievements in mind, the Commonwealth Games also began today. We wish the athletes the best of luck from all of us at David Morley Architects!
