In this talk Chris described the practice’s approach to designing people focused, non-institutional and therapeutic mental healthcare environments that maximise strong connections between inside and outside, based on biophilic design principles, a deep understanding of clinical needs and exploiting a cross fertilisation of ideas developed from designing across a wide range of sectors.
