Chris Roberts is looking forward to presenting at the Design in Mental Health 2025 Conference today in Manchester, along with Rachelle McDade of Currie & Brown and Evelien van Veen of Woonwerk Architecten, where he will be showing examples of Active Design in practice, emphasising the importance of people, programmes and places coming together with cultural strategies to encourage more physical and social activity within our communities. This being at a time when Britain’s childhood obesity crisis is rising and low physical activity levels are costing our economy £7.4billion a year.
Their presentation, ‘Active Design & Digital Culture: Shaping the Future of Community Wellbeing’ will be in the Blue Theatre starting at 11am on 3 June 2025.
