How do you inspire the next generation of young people to discover their superpower in the Construction Industry? Helping them to thrive, achieve their potential and to learn green skills that will help them create a more sustainable future?

That was the challenge that Karol Quinn, Natalie Dutton and Helen James took part in this week, at the Constructive Futures ‘Green Skills Employability Summit’, at the University of East London, organised by the wonderful Jenny Kitchen and Natalie Sarabia-Johnston of Southgate & Sarabia Architects Ltd.

It was a pleasure to be part of the event, and we hope that the talks given by our team on Net Zero Carbon; and our work on Loughborough University‘s Passivhaus-accredited SportPark building and King’s Cross N1C regeneration projects helped to inspire the cohort in the room towards finding their future role.

Author, King's Cross, a unique destination to the northernmost plot of the King’s Cross Masterplan. David Morley Architects (DMA) are the masterplan architects and lead design architects for the scheme and the detail architects for W2 building on York Way.
