The design was developed with close consultation with the local community. The building contains a gymnastics hall, a multi-purpose sports hall, a soft play area, offices and public facilities – a cafe and juice bar. It has become a popular local landmark.

“What great news for sport in Camden… Camden’s gymnasts have been getting excellent results for some time, who knows what they will be able to achieve once they have access to this much needed specialist facility.”

Cllr Phil Turner, Chair of Leisure and Community Services committee

The park within which this centre was located used to become dangerous and an area for drug addicts to congregate. The new building has since regenerated this area, and its now a safe and popular area to play sports.
