The Biosciences Centre
David Morley Architects have produced a design that is proving highly successful in terms of the core goals of the project – a state of the art research facility that establishes integration and collaboration within the biological sciences research community. The building has also made a strong impact on the city, transforming the northeast corner of the precinct and a key gateway site into a memorable landmark.”
The Biosciences Centre is a teaching and research facility that has unified the School of Biological Sciences at The University of Liverpool. The design concept seeks to foster social and intellectual interaction and collaboration between researchers within a new state of the art research environment. The proposal includes both new and refurbished facilities, which form a new ‘quad’ within the university precinct. The project was delivered on time within a tight time scale.
