The Albert Memorial Kiosk

With a reputation for designing in sensitive and historic contexts, David Morley Architects were appointed by The Royal Parks to build a new refreshment kiosk in Kensington Gardens adjacent to the Grade I listed Albert Memorial and the Grade I listed Royal Albert Hall.

The kiosk's unique design allows the charred timber facade to peel back in order to expose the refreshment counter and it's striking gold plated ceiling, which provides a subtle reference to the ornate golf leaf detailing on the adjacent Albert Memorial.
