Helen graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff in 2000. She joined David Morley Architects in September 2000, and completed her professional qualifications as an Architect in 2002. Helen progressed quickly through the practice working on a variety of projects and was made an Associate in 2007.
During her time at David Morley Architects, Helen has worked primarily in the education, sports and residential sectors. Notable projects include the Campus at Weston super Mare, which is an RIBA award-winning new build community project that combines a primary school, a secondary school for children with severe learning difficulties, and a community centre, within one building, and the London 2012 Waterpolo venue, for which Helen was responsible for delivery of the design stage. Two of Helen’s most recent projects include Wycombe Abbey School and a multi-storey school and residential development at King’s Cross.
The Wycombe Abbey project provides residential accommodation for students and staff located on a magnificent parkland site containing listed buildings and landscape. The Plimsoll Building at King’s Cross also combines residential and educational accommodation, within a vibrant and mixed use new urban quarter of the city.
